Description

First edition two volume set published by Macmillan & Co. Limited in 1906. The set is in very good or better condition. The original red cloth boards are in excellent shape with only minor rubbing to the spine ends and corner tips. The odd corner is gently pushed. Both volumes have faded spines with both being a shade or two lighter. Both volumes have scuff marks to the bottom of the spine. The pages in both are very clean with no previous owner's inscriptions, ink, foxing or bookplates. The binding is also tight and square. It is a collectable set and better than is usually found.
