An unbroken run of 13 volumes covering a tumultuous period of North American history, these volumes contain many reports on the crisis in the colonies and include one of the earliest printings of both the Declaration of Independence [1776 volume, page 261] and the Constitution of the United States [1787 volume, page 289].
