Very early printing, in the same year as the 1st impression, but not 1st impression. 15th thousand. Original binding. Fraying and some splitting to cloth at spine edges. A couple of marks to front cover. Slight cracking to hinges, but only slight, which is good for a book of this age. Previous owners name on half title page. No other hand writing in book that we can find. Minor light foxing to prelims There are occasional small marks on pages, but generally quite a clean copy. P219 has small corner torn off bottom page. No text affected. See pictures to see good idea of condition. We are bringing several other ‘Alice’ items to the York Fair, so visit our stand if interested.
