Trainspotting at Leith Central Station.

Working photocopy of original three page manuscript of the author’s short fiction piece Trainspotting at Leith Central Station, first published in Parcel of Rogues and later as chapter six in section six of the author’s cult novel Trainspotting. This is Parcel of Rogues editor and publisher, Duncan McLean’s, copy with suggested changes made in his hand. Most of McLean’s suggestions are minor and were ignored. One suggestion he has made and which Welsh accepted is to replace ‘Franco’ (Begbie’s nickname) which is used near the end of the narrative and continue using ‘Begbie’ for the psychopathic madman. A wise suggestion editor! A copy of the booklet Parcel of Rogues is included in the package.
