Original gilt lettered red cloth portfolio. Lacks the linen ties, and page edges dusty. folio. c1900. Together with three further matching portfolio, two containing watercolour and pencil drawings, and one with coloured plates of French furniture. A. Rough sketch of a caned arm chair, and 13 sheets of watercolour drawings of chairs, some with reference numbers, one dated 1906, and several with plate numbers at the head ( 461, 463, 485, 612, 635, 663, 704), 2 further uncoloured drawings of chairs, and a folding pencil drawing of a decorative urn. B. Le Garde-Meuble. 32 coloured plates (numbered 2125-2152, 2155-2157, 2159-2160), and 3 uncoloured plates (worn).
