Byatt to the limitation page - numbered 512 out of 1000. In matching pictorial slipcase. 617pp. Novel. Book is very clean, bright and neat with just the tiniest hint of wear to to the very tips of the corners. Slipcase likewise is very clean, bright and neat again with just a tiny hint of wear to the corners and a very small area of surface damage to the paper return to one inner corner at the open edge. There is some slight wear to the gilt titles on slipcase and book but this seems to be part of the vintage style design.
