DescriptionLithographed by the Proprietor S. M. Strang Manchester. 32pp each page has line illustration drawn by Herbert P Templar with satirical text and opposite is an advert. Newsprint paper, blue upper wrapper sporting lettering and with a sketch of the exhibition building. Cloth strip over stapled binding. Staple rusted. Some scattered foxing. Sold at the time of the exhibition for one penny. In 1887, the Botanical Gardens were joined by an enormous exhibition of art, science and industry, to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Following in the footsteps of the 1857 'Art Treasures' exhibition thirty years before. Another ephemeral publication in the same series was also made called "People we met at the exhibition"
